For as long as I can remember it’s been my dream to share the experience of Horses with as many people as possible!

To create a place in society where people can come to share, enjoy, learn, rejuvenate and heal.  For years I had no name for this.  I just kept thinking that someday I would be working with “kids” and horses.  Horses have always been my “therapy” and it has been my pleasure to share that healing feeling with so many people. Ten years ago I left corporate recruiting to pursue that dream full time.

A life long equestrian, professional horse trainer, therapeutic riding instructor and former career counselor, I bring many skills to the barn setting.

My training and expertise includes:  Communication, Relationships, Family Dynamics, Seminars and Workshops, Eating Disorders, Addiction, Trauma, Interspecies Communication, Hands on Healing, Homeopathy, Chinese Medicine, Acupressure, Herbs, Reiki, and Aromatherapy.  Specifically for the horses I’ve studied; Shoeing analysis, Lameness, Saddle Fit, Movement analysis, Nutrition, Supplements, Teeth, Environment, Etcetra.

For over 20 years I have studied, read and practiced the teachings of several influential members of society including;  Wayne Dyer, Depak Chopra, Anthony Robbins, Carl Yung and Carolyn Myss.  In the Healing and Horse Therapy world I have learned from many including Barbara Rector and Diana Thompson.  For many years I’ve attended Personal development workshops hosted by the Summit Organization and Productive Learning and Leisure. Ive also closely studied the teachings of:  Pat Parelli,  Lyons, Monty Roberts, Clinton Anderson, Jane Savoie, Linda Tellington Jones and Tom Dorrance.

Daily I try to learn something new!

My prior professional occupation was as a Corporate recruiter in Southern California. Some of my clients included; Disney, Guess Jeans, Twentieth Century Fox, Parmamount Pictures and Directv. It was my job to qualify and screen technical candidates and refer them for jobs for a fee.  An inordinate amount of time was spent counseling professionals on their careers and personal lives. Initially I worked for an Executive Search Firm in Southern California.  Wanting to be my own boss I left this company after two years and spent the next 12 years working for me! This career afforded me my horses and several other perks including the opportunity to work from home and from another state! Telecommuting was not the norm at this time so I felt very blessed.

Sky Dog Ranch is the result of the dreams and ambitions of many!

I look forward to the opportunity to share what I have learned, and came in with, with you!!
